A Full Page - David Bowie, KISS, Robert Plant

Sometimes, while I am going through my many photo albums, I will not feel like pulling the page apart and scanning each item individually. I'll just scan the whole page.

This is one of those times.

Let's see, who do we have here:
David Bowie, Spectrum, July 10, 1990
(peel-off backing from the RUSH pass)
Robert Plant, Spectrum, July 7, 1990
KISS, Spectrum, June 26, 1990
KISS guitar pick
David Bowie, Spectrum, July 12, 1990

Don Henley - Philadelphia

Down at the Sunset Grill

Still one of my favorite lighting cues of all time. All those lovely Vari*Lites lowering and scrolling colors from yellow to orange.

Dave was a truly beautiful soul, may he rest in peace.
He and his rigging box labeled "Sex Toys"

(Production Office Only - they didn't want me to wander off! Ha!)

Midnight Oil

I went to any show and every show. Every show was a new opportunity to make new friends. I didn't care who was playing, as long as there was fun to be had, I was there.
I saw some of the greatest shows and met some of the greatest people!

RUSH - Philadelphia

RUSH

A stagehand backstage, gripping the cables secured to the giant inflatable rabbit in the tophat and yanking and bouncing on those cables to make the rabbit dance during "Tom Sawyer"
Hilarious!!

Pictures somewhere, maybe one day I'll find them.

Cher

I was a guest at one show, got invited back and brought my mom. I clearly recall her standing outside singing "Ollie, Ollie oxen free!" as I waited for my friend to escort us in.

Depeche Mode

I wound up becoming friends with the tour manager and got invited back. There are photos somewhere but man are they embarrassing!

(that Philly pass is actually bright orange but the scanner couldn't handle it)

Milli Vanilli ~ Philadelphia

April 20, 1990 Philadelphia Spectrum
Young MC opened the show.

I have to tell you, I had a lot of fun! The guys were really nice, I was tossed into some tour bus antics and then there was the Pizza Party.

It was pretty fun to have security point at me, gesture "you" and then escort me backstage while others were told the show was over and it was time to leave.

Motley Crue - Philadelphia

April 15, 1990

One of the funnier things I heard after this show was a friend saying to me, "My spies saw you going on to the tour bus with (opening band) but no one saw you coming off!"

Whitesnake ~ Philadelphia

April 14, 1990

Whitesnake shot their video for "Now You're Gone"
I'm in it.
Adrian sang to me and dropped a guitar pick down my dress

I circled all the "COMP" codes back then

A good time had by all!

Aerosmith ~~ January 21, 1990

I love tearing things like this off the backstage hallways. I have a notebook full of them

Nice tits

Rod Stewart

Had a lot of fun, was invited back a few times.

Philadelphia

My sister ran up the steps on stage right at the Meadowlands and danced with Rod during "Young Turks". She skipped through all the ping pong balls that had been dropped on stage, grabbed Rod, hugged him and they danced.
Probably the best moment of her life.

Back then, I rarely had a camera with me, not many people carried them. I don't have photos of her moment of glory.
